ABOUT Phillipa Moloney

Hi! I’m Phillipa the founder of SCULPT Pilates Studio. I am the sole owner, manager, workout programmer, cleaner, administration assistant (and the list goes on) of SCULPT Pilates Studio. I suppose I should tell you where it all started; Starting SCULPT Pilates Studio stems from a place of personal challenge and to some point, insecurity. As a young woman in society today, I can honestly say it’s a pretty brutal world. Social media is an incredible platform but it also opens you up to a lot of scrutiny. Women in particular have been picked apart for their physical appearance and drowned with news of diets, exercise trends and how to look the perfect way.

Consequently, the pressure we place on ourselves is ridiculous; eat perfectly, exercise perfectly and you’ll be perfect…right?

I fell into this trap as most of us do. This is why I grew a really strong passion for health and fitness. I wanted to show myself, and everyone else that you do not need to move your body to please others. Move to feel STRONGER. Move because it makes you feel CONFIDENT. Move because it puts a smile on your face. Move to clear the MIND. Move for YOU. You’ll be happier and healthier – that I can guarantee. SCULPT originated because I wanted to provide people with a platform and community to come in and exercise for ENJOYMENT not for OBLIGATION. So let’s move together, imperfectly, for ourselves.
